Fitment
My 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo 5.3L SS has P235/50ZR x 18 Goodyear Eagle tires on original OEM 18 x 7 rims with 52 mm negative offset and 6″ backspacing. I want to replace them with P255/45ZR x 18 Goodyear Eagles GS D3’s. Will they fit on these rims? Will I have enough clearance in the wheel well lock to lock and away from my struts? Please advise, thank you.
Do You Sell Spare Tires (Used)?
I heard from a friend that Performance Wheel & Tire sell used tires,
potentially as spares. True?
Corvette 18″ Tires
I have a 99 Corvette with 18X10.5 front and 18X12 rear wheels, I am looking for tires that have at least 40 aspect ratio front, rears accordingly. The stock tire size has a 1″ front to rear diameter differential that I assume I have to keep for the ABS reasons. I can be somewhat flexible on diameter as I can reprogram the computer to keep the speedo correct. Can you recommend a brand and sizes that are available? they don’t have to be EMT’s either. I want something that works reasonably well in rain also.
thanks

Retread Tires
I haven’t tried retread tires because I am afraid about quality. Although I know that I can get significant savings from using them.
What are your experiences with retread tires? Do you recommend it?
Why not 35″s?
Hi all.
I have a 1981 F-150 with a 2 1/2 suspension lift. I currently have 33/12.50/15s on it and I seem to have A LOT of clearance in the wheel wells. They occasionally rub on the radius arms when parking in tight spots, but I don’t see any reason not to put 35s of the same width on– wouldn’t it be about the same other than the tires would just rub on a different part of the radius arm? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
